AIS recognises its responsibility to balance its business needs by pursuing the use of processes, practices, materials, or products which avoid, reduce or prevent pollution and this policy is appropriate to the nature of our business.
Specifically all applicable regulatory and legislative requirements will be met and all other requirements surpassed and by involving our customers and other interested parties, we will continually improve our quality, occupational health, safety and environmental performance, through a list of management driven objectives and targets.
Objectives and targets, which are publicly available on request, will be set and achieved through an integrated Management Programme and by continuous improvement initiatives for the three standards identified below. The objectives and targets are contained in a folder named objectives and targets within the IMS. All objectives and targets are constantly monitored and reviewed at the management review meeting.
All employees are fully committed to the implementation and maintenance of an Integrated Management System, which meets or exceeds the requirements of ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001.
This documented policy will be communicated, implemented and maintained at all levels within the organisation and will be made reviewed at the management review for continued suitability and be made available to any other interested parties upon request.
